Menlo Mud pottery is made and fired in a tiny home studio in the Menlo Park district of Tucson, Arizona.
Every piece of pottery made in this studio is made with intention and care, with thought of the future hands that may be holding it, and the future home that it may be in. It is important to be mindfully aware of peace and serenity that small moments give us throughout our day. A cup of coffee in a carefully crafted mug, or a salad mixed in a colorfully brush-glazed bowl, can be wonderful opportunities to do that.
Care Recommendations
Caring for handmade pottery is like caring for a hand-knit sweater. Hand washing is always recommended to extend its life and prevent possible damage.
Additionally, if you microwave one of my handmade pieces, please keep in mind that they may be very hot! Handmade ceramic absorbs more heat than store-bought ceramic.
